Making another post like one that worked

Reuse the design of a post that did well, carrying a new message — one at a time or a month in one sitting.

Take a guided tour of Remix

Remix takes a post you have already made and rebuilds it — same layout, same colours, same look — carrying a completely new message. It is for the format you want to run every week, where the design is settled and only the words change.

How it works

  1. Pick the design to work from: one of your own published posts, a layout you have saved, or a graphic you upload (a Canva file, for example).
  2. Say what this one is about — or press Suggest what to post and pick from ideas based on your brand and your recent posts.
  3. Optionally type a headline. That text is written into the image exactly as you type it.
  4. Remix it. You get the new image and a caption written in your brand's voice.
  5. Open it in the composer to choose where it goes and when.

A month in one sitting

Switch to a batch and you can fill the same layout with up to six messages in one pass, then save them all as drafts. A batch can also be stitched into one silent Reel or TikTok, ready for a trending sound on the platform.

Saving a layout

Save this layout keeps the design, its destinations and its copy so the same format is one click next month. Saved layouts can be renamed, which is worth doing once you have more than two.

Remix uses your monthly AI allowance and is available on every paid plan. Turning a still into a real moving clip uses your Video Pack instead.

Frequently asked

Which of my posts can I remix?

Anything Optimate published with an image, and posts pulled back from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X and Bluesky once your analytics have synced. LinkedIn posts appear in Repurpose for their wording but not as a layout, because LinkedIn does not hand back a reusable image.

Will the text on the image be readable?

Yes, if you type it into the headline field — it is rendered exactly as you write it. Leave the field blank and the text areas come back clean for you to fill in yourself.

What is the difference between Remix and Repurpose?

Remix reuses the DESIGN with new words. Repurpose reuses the WORDS across your other platforms. They sit next to each other in the menu.
