Connect Optimate to Claude

Link Optimate to Claude and manage your social media by chatting — analytics, recommendations, drafting, scheduling and posting.

Optimate works as a custom connector for Claude. Once linked, you can ask Claude to pull your analytics, find your best posting times, generate images, and draft, schedule or publish posts — all using your real Optimate account.

Set it up

  1. In Optimate, open Settings → Connections and copy your Claude connector URL (it ends in /api/mcp).
  2. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  3. Give it the name Optimate and paste the connector URL. Leave the OAuth fields blank.
  4. Click Add, then Allow on the Optimate sign-in screen.
  5. Start a chat and ask, for example, 'Using Optimate, how did my posts do this month?'

What Claude can do

  • Read your connected accounts, analytics summary, best posting days and scheduled posts.
  • Read your brand profile and top posts so drafts stay on-brand.
  • Generate an AI image and return a URL you can post.
  • Schedule posts, publish immediately, and edit or cancel scheduled posts.

Nothing is ever published without your explicit confirmation — Claude shows a preview first and only posts when you say yes.

Frequently asked

Do I need a paid plan?

Reading analytics and recommendations follows your normal plan access. Scheduling, immediate posting and AI image generation through Claude require an Optimate Pro or Agency plan.

Which platforms can Claude post to?

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and X for scheduling and posting. Instagram needs an image; TikTok and YouTube need a video; X takes text with up to 4 images or 1 video.

How do I disconnect Claude?

In Optimate, go to Settings → Connections and click Disconnect on the 'Use Optimate inside Claude' card. That immediately revokes Claude's access.

Is it secure?

Yes. The connector uses a standard OAuth sign-in, only ever acts on your own account, and can be revoked at any time.
