Scheduling and publishing posts

Schedule posts for later or publish immediately across your connected platforms.

Once your accounts are connected, you can publish straight away or schedule for a future time. Scheduled posts publish automatically at the time you set.

To schedule a post

  1. Open the composer and write (or generate) your caption.
  2. Select the platforms and, where relevant, the page or account to post to.
  3. Add media if the platform needs it (Instagram needs an image; TikTok and YouTube need a video).
  4. Choose a future date and time, then schedule. Or choose Post now to publish immediately.

You can review, edit or cancel anything that hasn't published yet from your scheduled posts — in the app, or by asking Claude.

Frequently asked

Can I edit a scheduled post?

Yes — you can change the caption or the scheduled time until it publishes. After it publishes it can't be edited from Optimate.

What happens if a platform rejects a post?

Optimate records the failure and retries where appropriate. You'll be able to see the status of each post.
